1. **Rinse your swimsuit in cold water immediately after swimming in salt or chlorinated water**. High chlorine environments, such as swimming pools or hot tubs, can damage the fabric and reduce its longevity. Note that hot water is not suitable for swimsuits. Avoid prolonged or frequent bathing in hot tubs, and consider having a swimsuit dedicated to this use.
2. **Prefer hand washing with a mild soap to preserve the quality of the fabric**. Absolutely avoid putting your swimsuit in the washing machine or soaking it. The dryer should also be avoided.
3. **When washing a new swimsuit, do it separately**. This will allow any excess dye to dissipate. Color bleeding is normal and will stop after a few washes.
